KD Doesn't Auto-Start or Log Off on Exit

Hi,

KD (Trial Version 2.0.22.0) is working quite well, but stubbornly refuses to start automatically when my children log onto their account, and doesn't log off when they exit.

OS: Windows XP
Account: Computer administrator
KD Options: "Start KidDesktop..."; "Start in Full Screen..."; "Log out of Windows..."

Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm sorry to hear about the problems you are having with KidDesktop auto-starting and logging off.

In order to help me troubleshoot your problem, can you please send the configuration files located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Purple Apples\KidDesktop. In that directory, will be sub-folders containing the configuration files corresponding to each child that you have configured to use KidDesktop.

Also, did you use KD Builder to create the Windows accounts for your children or did they already exist prior to using KidDesktop?

The Windows account was created prior to installing and running KD.

How do I send you the 3 files (video, DesktopSettings, UserProperties)? I can't attach a .xml or .txt via a forum attachment.
